I am just so thankful for my amazing family! I have THE bestest husband in the whole world! I'm so happy to be HIS wife! Our daughter is simply the sweet little lady! She is such a joy! I love to hear her randomly giggle! Right now she is in a really fun stage where she loves to play with us and gabber! She is now saying 'Da Da', 'Ma Ma', and sometimes 'Hi'! She used to call me 'Ba Ba'... I think it was because the Mmm sound was hard for her to get so she replaced it with B! : ) Now if she's crying sometimes she'll say 'Mama ma ma Ba Ba ba ba'. It's kind of cute.

Lately I've been feeling like I've been hibernating... just waiting for Spring to come. I miss things like walks in the sun, gardening and many other great outdoor activities! I've been thinking of all the great outdoor things that I really hope to do one day! Like vegetable gardening, canning, herb gardening, raising our own fruit, raising bees, raising animals, and so much more! I want to be self-sufficient!
Speaking of self-sufficiency...

This is an amazing book! I've been making a lot of my own natural cleaners with this book! It's so much fun to clean with something that you made yourself! And that you feel good about breathing in the fumes! I'm really not a big one on breathing in something that could do some harm... a lot of cleaners tell you to be cautious breathing or not use at all while pregnant, so why would I want to breath them while not pregnant? Plus a lot of the cleaners are really unsafe to have around while there are small children in the house. Even tho you still don't want your children to play with or drink the homemade cleaners, it's not going to necessarily burn their insides if they accidently do.
Have you read this book? Or any other good self-sufficiency book? I would love to hear from you!

Preparing for baby! :-)
We have been busily preparing for our sweet little one lately! :-) Everything from grocery shopping to washing laundry has been about the baby! :-) I'm working on getting the cupboards full of food for when the baby gets here, been making sure all our laundry is done, making sure the baby's laundry is done, getting the baby's little bed all ready for her, getting our bags packed, getting baby equipment set up... and so on and so forth!
I am really looking forward to kissing our sweet baby's face and head! I know after the baby gets here I might hear it more than I want, but I really can't wait to hear her cry! I can't wait to see what color her eyes are! Sweet one we are waiting for you! :-)
Just yesterday we got the car seat! We had been hoping that baby would wait till it got here! And now here it is! Baby you can come anytime now!! :-)
I feel so blessed with all that the Lord has provided for us for this sweet baby! :-) I feel completely ready! Just a few little things that need to get done! I am still working on the birth plan and other preparations!

~Third Trimester~

We are now in the third trimester! We have about 3 more months to go! I can hardly believe that September is as close as it is! Lately, I have been feeling for the most part great! Pretty energized minus the fact that the extra weight makes me feel tired. I am very thankful that I have had a really easy pregnancy for the most part! I didn't have any morning sickness! The only things that wasn't as plesent (but that I don't mind) is I sometimes get cramps in my legs at night, I can't stand the smell or looks or taste of chicken, and I sometimes get shaky (probably from not eating or drinking enough). And all those things don't happen very often! I feel completely blessed and excited to meet this sweet little one! The things I've been enjoying a lot during this pregnancy are I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE to feel the baby kick!!!! :-) It makes me so happy to know that she is safe and that she is still doing well! I also really like the feeling of being pregnant! It makes me feel so womanly and feminine! :-) I love to talk to other ladies about babies and pregnancy! And I love the cravings! ;-) That might sound silly to like cravings, but I do like them! I guess it's just another thing that makes me feel pregnant! :-) Plus I've always liked food! ;-) So to conclude my blog post I'm just going to say that I love being pregnant! :-) Thanks for reading! By the way I just want to let you all know that you'll make my day if you leave a comment! ;-)

I just had to share this!
"JUST A MUM?
A woman, renewing her driver’s
licence was asked by the woman recorder
to state her occupation. She
hesitated, uncertain how to classify
herself. “What I mean is,” explained
the recorder, “do you have a job or
are you just a...?” “Of course I have
a job,” snapped the woman. “I’m a
Mum.” “We don’t list ‘Mum’ as an
occupation, ‘housewife’ covers it,”
said the recorder emphatically. I forgot
all about her story until one day I found
myself in the same situation. The clerk was
obviously a career woman, poised, efficient and possessed
of a high sounding title like “Official Interrogator” or “Town Registrar.” “What is
your occupation?” she probed. What made me say it? I do not know. The words simply
popped out. “I’m a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations.”
The clerk paused, ball-point pen frozen in midair and looked up as though she had
not heard right. I repeated the title slowly, emphasizing the most significant words. Then
I stared with wonder as my pronouncement was written, in bold, black ink on the official
questionnaire. “Might I ask,” said the clerk with new interest, “just what you do in your
field?” Coolly, without any trace of fluster in my voice, I heard myself reply, “I have a
continuing program of research, (what mother doesn’t) in the laboratory and in the field,
(normally I would have said indoors and out). I’m working for my Masters, (first the Lord
and then the whole family) and already have four credits (all daughters). Of course, the job
is one of the most demanding in the humanities, (any mother care to disagree?) and I often
work 14 hours a day, (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-ofthe-
mill careers and the rewards are more of satisfaction rather than just money.” There was
an increasing note of respect in the clerk’s voice as she completed the form, stood up and
personally ushered me to the door. As I drove into our driveway, buoyed up by my glamorous
new career, I was greeted by my lab assistants -- ages 13, 7, and 3. Upstairs I could
hear our new experimental model, (a 6 month old baby) in the child development program,
testing out a new vocal pattern. I felt I had scored a win over bureaucracy! And I had gone
on the official records as someone more distinguished and indispensable to mankind than
“just another Mum.” Motherhood! What a glorious career! Especially when there’s a title
on the door. Does this make grandmothers “Senior Research associates in the field of Child
Development and Human Relations” ? and great grandmothers “Executive Senior Research
Associates”? I think so!!!
I also think it makes Aunts “Associate Research Assistants”. Please send this to another
Mom, Grandmother, Aunt, and other friends you know. May your troubles be less, your
blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door!"

Random post~
I have been busy learning to crochet lately! :-) My sisters and I taught ourselves! Now I'm practicing my crocheting on a dishrag that is turning out quite funny, but I think it'll make a nice dishrag none the less! ;-)
I have also been getting grossly behind on cleaning... :P Though yesterday I cleaned our master bedroom and the day before I cleaned the bathrooms! I'll just take it a room at a time I guess. I think today I'll end up cleaning the kitchen! It is in dire need of a good cleaning... there are dishes hanging out on every counter possible, simply because I ran out of dishwasher soap and I haven't caught up on the dishes since. Oh dear!
Tomorrow (Friday the 18th), we have a midwife appointment! I am really looking forward to hearing the baby's heartbeat again! *Happy sigh* That never gets old! :-) I also have been feeling the baby kick a great deal! That makes me VERY happy! I like to know that she is safe and sound in there! Every time I feel her kick I find myself letting out a sigh of relief! Oh the joys of having your tummy kicked! ;-) Heh heh!
I'm hoping to be able to get the stuff to make a diaper bag here pretty soon! Oh I so do love to sew! Especially for our baby! I'm thinking of making it brown with a pink ribbon! Or maybe lavender with a pink ribbon! I also thought about red with a pink ribbon! ;-) Anyway I'm pretty sure about the pink ribbon part! ;-)
Anyway, I better go get the dishes done now! Nice chatting with you all! :-)
